Mass m moves along x axis due to single force F=Fxi. It has constant mechanical energy given by E=1/2mv^2 - c1x+ c2x^2 where c1 and c2 are constants. Find expression for Fx.

I really do wish I could help you Jason but, Physics isn't my best subject :pp I can on the other hand find some help for you though :j

Its not mine either ); But thank you michelle!

Your welcome :j

Here's some help though--> @OrionsBelt, @Chineseboy15, @Dan815, @harishk, & @oksuz_ They've helped me& I'm grateful to them for that; hopefully they can help you too :j

sorry can u explain wts is F =Fxi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its just saying that this is a force vector with component i hat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok Work= Fx = delta Energy y=1/2mv^2 - c1x+ c2x^2 find dy/dx from this. F * delta x = delta E F= delta E/delta x F= dy/dx I rly am not sure abt this solution though
