i solved the first part and i'm stuck at 7(-1/2)+5

1) y=7x-3 2) y=9x-4 Substitute the y in 2 with 1 and solve for x. Then solve for y

well it's negative one half, and i substituted it in and then i got to 7(-1/2)+5 and i don't know what to do next
