why did a portion of the tabletop get cold when natasha placed her drink on the table

well... if natashas drink is cold one than it will try to regain the heat from surrounding to get to room temperature..... so it taken some of the heat from a portion of table. once the temperature of table portion and the drink gets to an equilibrium the heat transfer will cease and the both materials (drink and cold portion of table) will try to regain their lost heat by absorbing the heat from surroundiong like atmosphere......
