Which is the equation of the given line in point-slope form? http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1312500_1313000/1312642/1/6fd4a014836c3e496d943c851c61d61fa4823a56/HS_A1G2_S1_07_10_ART2.jpg

OpenStudy (radar):

You have provided the graph of the line, now where are the equations that we are to choose from that is in the point-slope form?

OpenStudy (radar):

Well I guess we could just work it out huh. \[\Delta y/\Delta x = Slope\]\[(-1 - 3) \over (-4 - 1/2) \] -4/-4 1/2 = 8/9 point slope form (y - 3) =( 8/9) (x-1/2) that could be one version.

OpenStudy (radar):

Or using the other point (y+1) = (8/9 ) (x+4)...........
