What would we need to know to calculate both work and power?

OpenStudy (rajat97):

we need the force and the displacement of the point of application of force for calculating the work done and the words here matter "displacement(and not the distance) of point of application of force(and not the object)" and to calculate power, we need the work done and the time for which the work is done or the force and the time for which the force is applied and the velocity of the object on which the force is doing work hope this helps you....:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Work = Force x Distance Power = Work / Time
