Tener (IRREGULAR -ER VERB) - To Have
YO tenGO - I have
TU tienES - YOU (informal*) have
EL/ELLA tienE - HE/SHE has
USTED tienE - YOU (formal**) have
NOSOTROS tenEMOS - WE have
VOSOTROS tenéis
ELLOS/ELLAS tienEN - THEY have
USTEDES tienEN - YOU GUYS have

*Informal - If you are under eighteen, you would use the informal type for anyone who is younger than you. If you are over eighteen, you use the informal type for only people who are under eighteen. They also teach you that informal would be for family, even your grandmother!

**Formal - If you are under eighteen, you use the formal type for anyone who is older than you. If you are over eighteen, you use the formal type for anyone who is over eighteen.
