yes...u r some what going in d right direction...see u know that when it is super cold outisde..the house walls prevent that and create a cosy environment for u so that u can work..right?
in similar fashion cell membrane creates an environment so that the cell can work perfectly..:D

sure....but golgi is not a part of cell membrane...its a part of cell...it is like a sorting centre...the proteins that are produced are perfectly sorted and then delivered to the required destination....
