Which social reforms were most directly related to the Second Great Awakening? freedom of religion and freedom of the press the abolition of slavery and the right of women to vote social acceptance of Native Americans and African Americans the environmentalist movement and the founding of national parks
I'd probably go with Germanic tribes for the first question because they were always thorns in the Western Roman Empire's side -- and they were also located in the West, as in Western Europe. The Ottoman Empire, the Mongols, and the Arabs were all issues that the Eastern Roman Empire...and later the Byzantine Empire...would have to deal with on their side of Mediterranean. For the second question, I'd say the abolition of slavery and the right of women to vote. Those were all part of the kind of religious revival that the Second Awakening encouraged as part of its efforts to change society and ready it for what they felt would be the second coming of Christ.
yh ..mongols .....
