I'm assuming "direct variation" means "slope" and so slope = rise/run so for the first graph every time you go to the right 1, it goes up 2 so it "rise"s 2 and the "run" (goes over) 1 so 2/1 = then for the second graph every time you go to the right 5, it goes up 25 so 25/5 =
