FOR A MEDAL
Country A has a diversified economy, and Country B doesn't. In the event of a natural disaster, which country has an advantage and why?

Country A: It would have enough products to meet the needs of its own people.

Country B: Since it focuses on only one product, it can recover more quickly.

Country A: If a disaster ruins one product, it has others it can produce or trade.

Country B: There is more risk if the country is producing a variety of products.

Not entirely sure. Let's pretend country a makes pizza, cars, and coffee
country b only produces bananas.
if the banana fields are wiped, country b has to rebuild everything whereas country a might lose a few factories but have other businesses that can still run

hahaha. ok basically, if I have 2 baskets of eggs I'd have to lose BOTH to break all of my eggs.

Whereas if it's all in one, I'd just need to drop one basket.

This is an abstract way of saying that country a can make food and stuff for its people whereas country b is fudged
