Explain the steps you would use to compare four-fifteenths and five-sixths

OpenStudy (nerdgamer_):

How would I write that.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

For five-sixths, I would divide 5/6 and then get the answer of 0.83. Then compare that to four-fifteenths, which I would get 0.26. Well when you see the tenths place, you can easily notice that 8 is greater than 2. Making the answer if five-sixths be greater than four-fifteenths.
