AM I CORRECT?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

you can't have a zero denominator biggest clue

Directrix (directrix):

@IDAREYOU How did you decide on the option you chose?

Directrix (directrix):

Another big clue: Is there a value of n which makes the entire fraction negative?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i see it would be c? because i cant have a zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Directrix because of when i graph the reciprcol power function and there is no negative that would mean that because the graph never shows y below the x axis and never touching the x axis wouldn't that mean the the range is all numbers greater than 0 except 0?

Directrix (directrix):

I think you have the right idea. In the numerator is 3 which is always positive. In the denominator is 7*n^8. 7 is always positive. n raised to an even power is always positve. So, the entire fraction is positive divided by positive and will not be negative. Zero has to be excluded because division by zero is undefined.

i see

Directrix (directrix):

So, yes. Your option choice is correct.
