A 190Ω resistor is connected to an AC source with E0 = 12V . Part A:What is the peak current through the resistor if the emf frequency is 100 Hz? Part B: What is the peak current through the resistor if the emf frequency is 100 kHz?

OpenStudy (radar):

What is the unit of the voltage measurement? RMS, Average, Peak. Assuming it is RMS, convert to peak by multiplying 12 by the square root of 2. Then use Ohm's law., the peak current will still be close to 100 kHz as it was at 100 Hz since we are dealing only with a resistor.
