jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

volume of a cone = 1/3 r^2 h so plug in h = 9 and r = 3 so (1/3)(3)(3)(9) =

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

@jigglypuff314 you forgot the pi. \[V=\frac{ 1 }{ 3 }\pi R ^{2}h\]

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

ah right, thanks

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

That's correct!

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

@teenah depending on how many digits of pi you want to use, you would get slightly different answers. if you were told to use "3.14" as pi then V=84.78 cubic inches would have been correct :)

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

10000 cubic cm would have been correct, if that's what you had meant :)

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

you're welcome, glad I could help :D
