how did europeans change life in the americas?

OpenStudy (zale101):

The Europeans changed life of many Native Americans. The first English permanent settlement, Jamestown Virginia in 1607, started the change. When Eropeans came to America, they discovered many valuable resources that they lacked in Europe, and native Americans were introduced to things they've never seen before. Valuable resources were traded such as food and weapons.

OpenStudy (zale101):

Europeans had sugar, steel weapons, horses, chickens. While the native Americans introduced them to tobacco, chocalote, pumpkins, as well as other things too.

OpenStudy (zale101):

Due to the amount of food they introduced to each other, the diets of both of those societies fortunately widened .

OpenStudy (zale101):

After gaining much land, the Europeans wanted the Native Americans to convert to Christianity, so they can fit better, but the Native Americans weren't convinced at all and held to their norms and traditions as well as their land. I'd say the people who mostly got effected after the European's settlement were the Native Americans. Their life changed miserably over the years.

OpenStudy (zale101):

How their life changed miserably? Well, consider the Native Americans were greatly populated in the Americas before the English settlement occurred. The population was greater during that period, but unfortunately after their land got taken away the less the population had become. Many of them got killed during the Trail of Tears and the Seminole wars leaded by Andrew Jackson.
