what is the proper way to cook a pumpkin pie if the pie is baking on 350 degrees

so if the tray the pie is in is slanted by 350 degrees, you may want to make sure is thickened enough so it doesn't spill over =P

if it were myself, I'd just use gravity and set the tray straight flat =P
