Well we can start "During the period of 1815-1824, the Era of Good Feelings, the country is feeling a great deal of national pride but he issue of slavery affected the nation.They were concerned the south/slave states would have an advantage in the Congress but it came up with the Missouri Compromise, allowing Missouri to enter as a slave state." There are few things that affected the nation like President Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Democrat, had the support of a number of Republicans for many of his New Deal programs. At this time, people was hardly agree on anything. I hope it helps. (:
