Which property states that changing the grouping of the factors does not change the product? Identity Property of Multiplication Distribution Property Associative Property of Multiplication Commutative Property of Multiplication

OpenStudy (trantom):

Associative property states that for x*y*z, you can group it as (x*y)*z, x*(y*z) or (x*y*z) and the product will be the same. The factors of a product are the numbers you multiply, so lets say x*y*z=a. a would be the product and x, y, and z would be the factors. Putting parenthesis around different parts of x, y, and z is grouping them. So, C. The associative property of multiplication states that changing the grouping of the factors does not change the product.
