A card is selected from a pack of 52 playing cards. Let A be the event 'The card is a spade' and let B be the event 'the card is an ace. Use the addition rule to find Pr(a or B)??

Look at the attached sample space for a 52-card deck. Count the number of spades. Then, count the number of aces which are *not* spades. Add those two numbers and place the sum over 52 to get the probability of spade or ace. @adriana_98
