Equation of motion for large-angle pendulum.

OpenStudy (xishem):

This was a question from an old problem set in the MITx: 2.03x Dynamics course on edX. I audited the course, and I'm running through the problems and I'm stuck on this one.

OpenStudy (xishem):

It says to find the differential equation of motion for a pendulum swinging in large angles. I'm not sure how to approach this at all... Free-body diagram:|dw:1385692151804:dw|I don't know what to do past here. The answer I've found around the internet is:\[L\ddot{\theta}+gsin\theta=0\]Can anyone give some ideas on how to approach the problem?
