Help me with this please!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[4^{2x} = 32^{1/2} \] x = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4 pow (2x )= 32 pow (1/2) can be written as 2 pow ( 4x ) = 2 pow ( 4 x 1/2 ) as both demoninators are equal we can equalte 4x = 2 x =2/4 therefore x=1\2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9x = 3x - 2 x = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So if i divide both sides by 3x i would have 3x = -2?? or is that wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@vinurules ? are you there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it would be 9x/3x = 3x/3x - 2/3x ie 3 =1 - 2/3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3-1 = -2/3x 2 = -2/3x 2 x (3x ) = -2 x= -1\3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hope u understood what i did ..sorry for late reply
