The United States Congress is made up of two houses which are the House of Representatives and the Senate. The two house system is also known as the bicameral legislature. Congress has the unique roll of passing, writing, and debating on bills and then sending them to the President for approval. They also look into national issues and are in charge of supervising the judicial and executive branches. The House has to be re-elected every two years while Congress is constantly changing.
