Which of the following is a pair of equivalent fractions? ten-twelfths and thirty forty-eighths fourteen twenty-eighths and twenty-one thirty-fifths sitwentieths and four-fifteenths seven-eighths and twenty-eight thirty-seconds

OpenStudy (ranga):

I will do the first one and you can follow a similar procedure for others. 10/12 and 30/48 To compare the two fractions make the denominator the same. Multiply the top and bottom of first fraction by 4 10/12 = 40/48. Compare this to the second fraction 30/48 and we can see they are not the same.
