A) During factoring, we want 2 linear expressions to equal the given quadratic expression. Thus, we find that (x+6)(x-4) would equal x^2+2x-24 B) (x-4)^2 C) They have the common factor of (x-4) The best way to learn this would be to look in your book because they can easily explain this much better than I will ever will.
