Given the polynomial 6x3 + 4x2 - 6x - 4, what is the value of the coefficient 'k' in the factored form? 6x3 + 4x2 - 6x - 4 = 2(x + k)(x - k)(3x + 2) k= ____________ Numerical Answers Expected!

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the constant term in the ploynomial is -4 an from the factoered from... the constant is \[-4k^2\] so you have the situation of \[-4 = -4k^2\] just solve for k.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do I solve for k.....Im sorry Im just not so good at this

OpenStudy (anonymous):
