Which of the following ordered pairs is a solution to the inequality y > -x + 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3, 1) (0, -2) (5, -1) (1, 9)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

tests the given choices, lemme do the 1st one (3, 1) x = 3, y = 1 y > -x + 5 1 > -3+5 1 > 2 <---- now is 1 really BIGGER than 2? well, no thus the statement is FALSE thus that point is not a solution to the inequality now just test the others

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so far I think its the 3rd one but not shure

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

test the 3rd one then
