OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

say you have a birthday cake, your birthday cake is a long line cake so you have 5 guests and you, 6 people at the birthday party how would you cut the cake to serve it?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

anyhow, you'd cut the "line" in 6 even equal pieces 5 of those 6 equal pieces, is \(\bf \frac{5}{6}th\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there anyway you can show me this on a graph? im not understanding :(

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

To get 5/6 on a graph, you need to convert to decimal, because graphs are counted using decimals. So convert 5/6 to decimal.
