ab=6+cd solve for c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c=ab-6/d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it should be... c=(ab-6)/d... it should be quantity (ab-6)... all over d....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ab=6+cd to solve for c, we start adding -6 both side to move 6 on the left-hand side... ab+(-6) = 6+cd+(-6) ab-6 = cd divide both side by d, to cancel d on the right-hand side of the equation, so that c will be solved... we put quantity (ab-6) divided by d (ab-6)/d = c or c = (ab-6)/d
