I have posted the question and the answer the only thing I do not understand is where they got the 15 and multiplied it by 600?

OpenStudy (waheguru):

What I did was find the speed per second = 600cm/s and find the circumference = 200cm then I divided 600/200 = 3 rotations per second thus 6 rotations for 2 seconds but I did not understand why 600cm/s was multiplied by 15?

OpenStudy (waheguru):

any ideas?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The question says 2 seconds, answer key says 15 seconds, somewhere there's an error.

OpenStudy (waheguru):

but they divide the 45/15 = 3 , 3 rotations per second

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

"600/200 = 3 rotations per second" 3 per second is 3 per second...

OpenStudy (waheguru):

yea thats my point why was the 15 there

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

It's a mistake, in either the question or answer.

OpenStudy (waheguru):

thanks
