Statistics: Hypothesis testing question: So I already found out the test statistic, critical-value, and p-value. Here is what I have: Po = .7 P^ (p-hat) = .714286 Alpha = .05 n = 175 Z = .4124013 Z_alpha = 1.65 Ho (null): p = .7 Ha (alternative): p > .7 p-value = .34016 I am not sure what to do in terms of determining if you should reject or accept the null etc... etc..., I know it is easy but I cannot find any notes on it.

How do I know if I should reject or accept the null hypothesis? Here is a screenshot of the problem:

the test is one-tailed

\[\hat{p}=\frac{125}{175}\]\[z=\frac{\hat{p}-p}{\sqrt{\frac{pq}{n}}}=\frac{0.714-0.7}{\sqrt{\frac{(0.7)(0.3)}{175}}}=0.404\]\[z_{0.05}=1.645\]the observed z value is lesser, accept the null hypothesis
