(eg: Sutures, Fibrous joints) - Ligamentous (eg: Radioulnar joint, Ligamentum flavum) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Diarthrosis/Synovial joints: +Uniaxial - Plane (intercarpal joints/intertarsal joints), Hinge (elbow joint), Pivot (atlantoaxial joint) +Biaxial - Condylar (wrist joint) - Saddle (CMC joint) +Multiaxial - Ball and Socket (glenohumeral joint)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is all correct

sam (.sam.):

Correction: Plane should be Multiaxial

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not all is correct, the Plane should be Multiaxial... lol hhaha

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Correct, Diarthrosis/Synovial joints are uniaxle and related to the movement joints. Synostosis joints also include the ephiphysis bone structures. There are four types of synovial joint movement: Uniaxial, Biaxial, Multiaxial, Nonaxial (gliding) Syndesmosis also include the inferior tibiofibular articulation. The condyloid is also a biaxial joint. Your multiaxial are correct, too.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

You got them all correct, but you could be a little more descriptive with your wording. Good job, Sam.

Thanks @Compassionate :)
