if f(x)=(x|x|)/(1+x^2) then f-1(x) is equal to.........?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think you have to work in cases if \(x>0\) then this is \[f(x)=\frac{x^2}{1+x^2}\] whereas if \(x<0\) it is \[f(x)=\frac{-x^2}{1+x^2}\] so you will have to find the inverse twice
