Can someone tell me what to do with the squared? Sketch a graph of the system of inequalities:

The squared doesn't change much; only the appearance. The way you determine if y is above/below the graph changes not. There is a slight difference for parabola; you must find the vertex. Once you've done so, plug in a couple of points on each side of the vertex, to get an accurate graph, then shade according to the function.
