f(x) =∫xe^x dx

Try integration by parts.

@StefaniaCanello

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah im trying but is kinda complicated

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Nope, when e^x is there its just simple.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its giving me like this, but the book says the answer is: (x-1)e^x + C

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

Nope, I noticed some errors, no need to factor out 1 from under the integral sign, and xe^x - e^x doesn't canel out like you did.

OpenStudy (turingtest):

your work is correct up to xe^x - e^x + C *though I wouldn't put C in until the end) you just need to factor it, not cancel, as @Isaiah.Feynman said

aaaaah i got it, thank you so much!
