I'm stuck on a question from my assignment. It goes: area of the rectangle = 18.3cm^2, length = x, width = x-3.7. So i come up with x(x-3.7)=18.3 , which leads to a quadratic equation x^2-3.7x-18.3=0, tried the quadratic equation formula, but i keep getting numbers, that don't work out in the end. Help please!
