Product rule: you have two functions you are multiplying together, and you want to find the derivative. So, (1) you find the derivative of the first function and multiply it times the second function; (2) then you find the derivative of the second function, and multiply it times the first function; (3) finally, you add steps (1) and (2). After this, its just a lot of algebra.
