(y-4)(y-3)=0 solve for y

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

When you solve for a function, you want to know what inputed value would make the entire function 0. By that, we may make y-4=0, then solve, y=4. Thus, the same with the other one y-3=0, y=3. Answers: y= 3,4
