This is a note from my teacher "The general form of the sine function is: y = Asin(ωx + Φ) + B where: 'A' is the amplitude of the function. The period of the function is: T = 2pi/ω The phase shift of the function is: Φ/ω A positive phase shift means the graph has moved to the left, while a negative phase shift means the graph has moved to the right.Use your graph to determine the variables A, Φ, ω and B. You can then write the equation for the graph. Review what each variable stands for. Once you know them all substitute in the general formula. As a note for these trig functions, it is best to leave them in terms of pi where possible. Please refer to section 4-2 for examples and sample problems."
