OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you can put it as \[(2x^2 - 6x - 4)+(-1) \times (4x^2 - 4x + 3)\]which is same as\[(2x^2 - 6x - 4)+(-4x^2 + 4x - 3)\] add them, \[2x^2-4x^2~~~-6x+4x~~~-4-3~~~~->~~~~-2x^2-2x-7~~~~~CLEAR?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea clear
