Which shows solutions to x + 3y = 7 if x and y must be whole numbers. A. {(2, 1), (1, 4), (0, 7)} B. {(0, 5), (1, 3), (2, 1)} C. {(1, 2), (4, 1), (7, 0)} D. {(0, 5), (1, 4), (2, 1)}

Answer is C. substitute all their points (x,y) that they gave you. The only ones that actually make x + 3y = 7 are the ones in C. For (1,2), Sub x = 1 and y = 2 into the equation. You'll get 1 + 3(2) = 7 which is true. Keep redoing this for all the points.
