P (purple) and p (white) are the dominant and recessive alleles for flower color in peas. Similarly, A (axial) and a (terminal) are the dominant and recessive alleles for flower position in peas. Two plants with the genotype PpAa are crossed. Which genotype is indicative of white axial flowers? A) PpAa is indicative of white axial flowers. B) PPAA is indicative of white axial flowers. C) ppAa is indicative of white axial flowers. @petiteme
It would be ppAa and ppAA because you need both of them to be recessive for the flower to be white and an axial one would need one dominant trait for it to be axial.
What? There's only one answer needed.. You claimed "It would be ppAa and ppAA" which confused me.
Nope :/. Thanks though, at least you had the attempt to assist me. :))))
C) ppAa is indicative of white axial flowers.
Awh lol. Oh well, at least now I know. Thanks ^_^
pp indicates while, Aa is axial cause it is dominant :)
