OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

f(x)-g(x) means subtract what f(g) is equal to FROM what f(x) is equal to f(x)-g(x) is same as (-2x+4) - (-6x-7) add like terms, -2x-(-6x) + 4-(-7) \[knowing~~that~~~~~~~a-(-b)=a+b,\] -2x+6x+4+7 4x+11 is the final answer.
