anababeeh: I'll guide you through the solution of this problem, if you're willing. First, subtract 4x from each side of the equation. That will leave you with 8y on the left. How would you solve the resulting equation for y alone? You should end up with an equation the looks like y = mx + b. Does this help you identify the slope, m, in your problem?
