OpenStudy (sierra_grey):

can someone help me, I don't know how to figure this out. What is the numerator of the fraction equivalent to 4/15 that has a denominator of 60?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to simplify fractions? Like if I gave you the number 3/6, you could tell me that's the same thing as 1/2?

OpenStudy (sierra_grey):

yeah, reducing the fraction 3/6 becomes 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome. So if you know that, I think we can get this one done no problem. Same thinking, different problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you've got a number to start with. 4/15. And you've got a denominator you want to get, 60.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To make it easier, draw it out.
