if you had 15 stars someone gave you 115 stars and another person took away 35 stars because they are theifs, how many stars will you have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

95 stars

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

Hmm..........you have 15 stars ~ Someone gives you 115 stars so that would be 15 + 115 = 130 Someone comes and takes away 35 stars which would make it 95 ~ So I would have 95 shining stars! I think O_O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You originally start off with 15 stars. If someone gave you 115 stars then you could add 115 to the 15 stars you already have. You will now have 130 stars. If someone takes 35 stars away then you will have to subtract 35 from the 130. You will be left with 95 stars.

that is correct
