What I'm referring to is in the second post. Sorry for not clarifying. :) I'm just wondering how that -4x is getting in there.

The person factored out a 1/4 from the integral:\[8\int\limits\frac{2-x^2}{4}-x\ dx=8\int\limits \frac{1}{4}(2-x^2-4x)\ dx=2\int\limits2-x^2-4x\ dx\]
