A basketball is shipped in a cube shaped box. The basketball touches just the sides of the box. (boxes dimensions: 9.6 in by 9.6 in by 9.6 in) Question: What is the radius of the basketball?

So remember you are going to have small triangular spaces in the box corners and if you know the dimensions of the box then you can find how large those triangles are and once you find the dimensions of the triangles then you can then locate the radius of the basketball

Radius of basketball is a side/2, because a side is the diameter of the ball. So 4.8 inches.
