6x-3y=-9..........eq#1 x-y=-6...........eq#2 taking eq#2 and separate the y y=x+6........eq#3 put eq#3 into eq#1 6x-3(x+6)=-9 6x-3x-18=-9 3x =-9+18 x=9\3 x=3 put the value of x into eq#3 y=3+6 y=9 so, the Solution set is { ( 3,9) } this is the answer
