think of the ordered pairs as x and y (x,y)- to find a slope: m=y2-y1)/(x2-x1) so if it has no slope the line is vertical - no slope , because the denominator would be equal to zero like in 2-2 so x would be 2, you could pick anything for y because the denominator would still equal zero, making it undefined or no slope if the y's were equal then the slope would be 0 hope this helps
