If this is a true or false question, the answer is absolutely false though the reason why has to do with the worst abuses in business that trusts were responsible for. As a result, trusts are often associated with monopolies who are more concerned with destroying competition and controlling prices to their benefit. They are companies so huge that any real competition has no chance in fighting them.
